1.1 General information

Thank you very much for your interest in our products and our website. Innviertler Teigwaren GmbH attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. When you use this website, various items of personal data – that is, data that can be used to identify you personally – are collected. In our privacy policy, we set out what data we collect, and for what purposes we use it.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to guarantee complete protection of data against access by third parties.

1.3 Storage duration

Unless a more specific retention period is set out in this privacy policy, personal data will be deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was stored no longer applies. If you submit a valid request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, we will delete your data, provided we have no other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data.

Data may also be stored where this is required by European or national legislation. Data will also be deleted when a statutory retention period expires, unless there is a need to continue storing the data for the purpose of concluding or fulfilling a contract.

1.4 Your rights

1.4.1 In general

The General Data Protection Regulation generally grants you, as a data subject, the rights and remedies set out below. To exercise your rights or if you have any questions, please contact the data controller (see section 1.2 above).

1.4.2 Right of information

In accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR, we must provide information to any data subject who requests confirmation as to whether personal data relating to them is being processed. Where necessary, they may be required to provide appropriate proof of their identity.

1.4.3 Rectification and erasure

In accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR, as a data subject, you have the right to request, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data relating to you or – taking into account the purposes of the data processing – the completion of incomplete personal data.

Under Article 17 of the GDPR, there is a right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) of data.

1.4.4 Restriction of processing

In accordance with Article 18 of the GDPR, there is a right to restrict the processing of all personal data collected, which may henceforth only be processed with the individual’s consent or for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

1.4.5 Datenübertragbarkeit

Under Article 20 of the GDPR, there is a right to data portability, i.e. the right to request the unimpeded and unrestricted transfer of personal data collected to a third party.

1.4.6 Right to object

In accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR, every data subject has the right, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them which is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller (Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR) or which is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). This also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The controller shall no longer process the personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

In accordance with Article 21(2) and (3) of the GDPR, every data subject has the right to object to the processing of their data for the purposes of direct marketing with effect for the future.

1.4.7 Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Some data processing operations are carried out solely on the basis of your explicit consent to data processing. You may withdraw any consent you have already given to data processing at any time. The lawfulness of any data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

1.4.8 Information on legal remedies

If you believe that the processing of your data contravenes data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, the Data Protection Authority is the competent authority.

1.5 SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as
orders or enquiries that you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you send to us cannot
be intercepted by third parties.

2. Hosting

We use the following hosting provider to make our website available: Infotech EDV-Systeme GmbH, Schärdinger Str. 35, 4910 Ried im Innkreis. The website cannot function properly without this data processing.

The hosting provider is the recipient of your personal data and acts as a data processor on our behalf; a data processing agreement has been concluded with the hosting provider. The processing of the data is necessary for the hosting provider to fulfil its contractual obligations; it is obliged to follow our instructions regarding this data. This is in line with our legitimate interest, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, in not having to maintain a server on our own premises. The server is located in Austria.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

You can contact us via our website by telephone, fax or using the email addresses provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted via email will be stored. In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, namely the legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiry addressed to us, or Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in the event that you have given your consent – which may be withdrawn at any time.

The data provided to us will remain with us until you request that we delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for which the data is stored no longer applies, provided that this does not affect any mandatory legal provisions – such as statutory retention periods.

4. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

4.1 Server log files

If you simply visit our website, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. We collect the following data: IP address, the website from which the file was accessed, the name of the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred and a record of whether the access was successful (known as a web log).

The data is stored in our system’s log files. This data is not combined with any other data sources. This data is not stored alongside any other data or personal data relating to the user.

The legal basis for the collection and storage of the data is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We require this data for technical reasons to ensure that the website remains functional, to operate it securely and reliably, to optimise the website, and to ensure the security of our IT systems.

4.2 Use of cookies

Our website uses what are known as ‘cookies’. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically. Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies serve various purposes. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide specific functions you have requested (e.g. the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring website traffic) (essential cookies), are stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing essential cookies to ensure the technically fault-free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent has been sought for the storage of cookies and similar recognition technologies, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 25(1) of the TDDDG); consent may be withdrawn at any time.

You can configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set and can choose to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, block cookies in specific cases or generally, and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

If any further cookies or services are used on this website, you can find details in this privacy policy.
